General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Eifeler Seehütte GmbH

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between Eifeler Seehütte GmbH and the guest or customer, as well as all related services and deliveries. Deviating terms and conditions of the guest or customer are not recognized unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

2. Conclusion of Contract

1. The contract is concluded upon acceptance of the booking by Eifeler Seehütte GmbH.

2. Bookings can be made in writing, verbally, by telephone, or online.

3. Prices and Services

1. The agreed prices include the applicable statutory VAT at the time of the contract conclusion.

2. Additional services not included in the contract will be charged separately.

3. Changes to services or prices are reserved if the period between the conclusion of the contract and the provision of services exceeds four months.

4. Payment Terms

1. The invoice amount is payable no later than upon departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.

2. Eifeler Seehütte GmbH reserves the right to require advance payment for group reservations or longer stays.

5. Cancellation and Withdrawal

1. Cancellations must be made in writing.

2. For hotel bookings, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Up to 14 days before arrival: free of charge.

From 13 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 90% of the agreed room price.

3. For restaurant reservations of more than 10 people:

Cancellations up to 48 hours in advance are free of charge.

Thereafter, 50% of the planned menu price will be charged.

4. No-Show Rule: If the guest does not arrive by 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and no later arrival has been agreed upon, Eifeler Seehütte GmbH reserves the right to allocate the room to someone else. The cancellation policy in §5.2 remains applicable.

6. Vouchers

1. Vouchers issued by Eifeler Seehütte GmbH are valid for three years from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.

2. A cash payout of vouchers is excluded.

7. Check-In and Check-Out

1. Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

2. Early check-in or late check-out must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.

8. Use of Parking Spaces
The use of the parking spaces of Eifeler Seehütte GmbH is at the guest’s own risk. The company is not liable for theft or damage to vehicles.

9. Events

1. Separate cancellation conditions apply for group events or celebrations, which will be individually agreed upon.

2. The organizer is liable for all damages caused by participants or third parties.

3. Eifeler Seehütte GmbH reserves the right to require a deposit for events to secure against possible damages or excessive cleaning. The deposit will be refunded upon proper handover.

10. Children and Extra Beds

1. Children up to 3 years stay free of charge in their parents‘ room.

2. Extra beds and baby cots are subject to an additional charge.

11. Wi-Fi Usage

1. The use of Wi-Fi is at the guest’s own responsibility.

2. It is prohibited to use the Wi-Fi for illegal activities.

3. Eifeler Seehütte GmbH is not liable for data loss, damage, or misuse resulting from Wi-Fi usage.

12. Liability

1. Eifeler Seehütte GmbH is only liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

2. Liability for items brought in by the guest is limited to the extent of statutory regulations.

13. Force Majeure
Eifeler Seehütte GmbH is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.

14. House Rules

1. The guest is obligated to treat the premises with care and adhere to quiet hours.

2. Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement and may incur additional charges.

15. Complaints and Notification of Defects

1. The guest is required to report any defects to reception immediately to allow for remedial action.

2. Claims that are not reported in a timely manner may not be considered.

16. Data Protection
All personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in the privacy policy on our website.

17. Final Provisions

1. The place of fulfillment and payment is the location of Eifeler Seehütte GmbH.

2. German law applies.

3. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
